Fairtrade coffee for a fairer world
Montville Coffee was born over twenty years ago, high up in the Sunshine Coast’s Blackall Range in the picturesque hinterland town of Montville. Today, you’ll find them in Baringa, just near the coastal hub of Caloundra. They’re pioneers in sustainability, as a registered B Corp in the business of sourcing Fairtrade, certified organic coffee.
Sourced from often marginalized, isolated communities in countries like Ethiopia, Peru and Nicaragua, the international origin of Montville Coffee’s beans allows it to brew unique blends for their customers, and to create their two signature coffee blends – Sunshine Coast and Woodford.
Montville Coffee takes great pride in educating visitors about the developing countries in which their beans are sourced, aiming to not only connect the consumer with the grower, but also to help raise awareness of the importance of Fairtrade. Their Feminino blend – stemming from an exclusively female-owned cooperative in Peru, is a great example of Montville Coffee’s commitment to spotlighting the origins of their beans.
