Test your upper body strength with a wakeboarding class, tackle the inflatables at the Aqua Park and cast your line in the catch and release fishing facility at Bli Bli Watersports.

Head up the Great Beach Drive

Jump in your 4WD and swap the bitumen for the great sandy highway on the Great Beach Drive. This journey takes you from Noosa to Rainbow Beach, and if you’re keen for someone else to take the wheel, book a tour with Epic Ocean Adventures.
Get on your bike
Did you know the Sunshine Coast is home to some epic mountain bike trails? For all the family fun you can have on two wheels, get pedalling through Ferny Forest at Ewen Maddock Dam in Landsborough or the purpose built Sugar Bag Road in Caloundra. Need a bike? Try Eco-tekk.
Visit Booloumba Creek
Experience a taste of the tropics on a 4WD adventure to Booloumba Creek in Conondale National Park. Here pristine turquoise creeks are surrounded by towering palm trees – perfect for picnics and camping. If you don’t have a 4WD, Sunny Jeeps can get you there (available for kids 7+ years old).

Need for speed at the Big Kart Track

Reach speeds of up to 70km/h on a visit to The Big Kart Track – open until 10pm during the Christmas holidays. Located in Landsborough, race your kids (suitable aged 12+) to the finish line on this adrenalin-inducing adventure.
Take to the water with Aquaduck
What has four wheels, a giant bill and quacks like a duck? The Aquaduck! Departing from The Wharf Mooloolaba, the kids will love the journey from land to sea (and the chance to take the wheel!).
Get on track with the Mary Valley Rattler

Fill your basket at Farmers Markets
Kids up at the crack of dawn? Grab your basket and head out to one of the many farmers markets on the Sunshine Coast. Yandina Country Markets, Kawana Farmers Markets and Eumundi Markets are staples on a Saturday, with Fisherman’s Road Market perfect for early Sunday mornings.
Take on the 1kg donut challenge

Everything in moderation, right? Head to the charming hinterland town of Kenilworth for a bakery visit the kids will talk about long after summer ends. Kenilworth Country Bakery (also located at The Wharf Mooloolaba) is where you’ll find the 1kg donut challenge.
