Birrunga Gallery is proud to present a stunning exhibition featuring works by artists from the Cultural Creative Development Program (CCDP), hosted at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre. This collection showcases a diverse range of contemporary works by Blak artists, celebrating Culture, storytelling, and connection to Country. The opening event on Saturday 29th March will begin with a Welcome to Country performed by Uncle Brian Warner, followed by a speech from guest speaker Councillor Karen Finzel, a passionate advocate for the arts in the Noosa community. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet the featured artists from the CCDP cohort and hear firsthand about their creative journeys and inspirations. This collaborative exhibition is an extension of Birrunga Gallery's mission to support and nurture emerging Indigenous artists while providing a platform to share authentic First Nations Culture with the wider community. Join in for an afternoon of art, culture, and connection to celebrate this exciting collection.
